Cat6 and Cat6A Cabling Installation for Offices and Commercial Buildings
Every desk, phone, access point, camera and printer depends on the copper cable behind the wall. RHC installs Cat6 and Cat6A structured cabling, from a handful of new drops to a full building, and certifies every link so you know it performs before anything is plugged in.
The challenges
- Old Cat5e that limits speeds and cannot carry modern PoE loads reliably.
- Cables run outside the standards: too long, too tight, or the wrong rating for the ceiling.
- Outlets and panel ports with no labels, so every move turns into tracing cables.
- Office moves and expansions with a fixed move-in date.
- Access points and cameras that need more power and bandwidth than before.
How we do it
- 1Site survey: floor plans, outlet locations, pathways, ceiling type and the closet each run will return to.
- 2Design: Cat6 or Cat6A per use, cable rating (plenum or riser), pathways and patch panel layout.
- 3Installation: cables pulled on J-hooks or tray, within length and bend limits, with fire-stopping where walls are crossed.
- 4Termination: jacks and patch panels terminated to T568B, with clean service loops.
- 5Certification: every link tested with a cable certifier against its category.
- 6Labeling and handover: outlets and panels labeled, test results and as-built drawings delivered.
